1st Shift - Entry Level Mechanical Inspector

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Adherence to safety procedures/guidelines at all times; maintain safety precautions at all times.
Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform in-process inspections on Holtec material for use in fabrication; document and/or record inspection results; report results as required by Holtec standard procedures.
Preferred experience and familiarity with the basic inspection tools and equipment
Capable of determining the calibration status of inspection and measuring equipment is in proper condition for use, and that inspection, examination and test procedures are approved.
Capable of operating forklift to assist in the set-up of material and/or components for mechanical inspection as required.
Capable of packaging and preparing items for shipping as required by standard procedures.
Record time on proper forms.

This role can be physically demanding and may require the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds. 

Required and Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred prior experience performing dimensional inspections and using measuring tools (calipers, scales, micrometer, β€œgo-no-go” gauges, tape measure, etc.)
