Your role, your entry point at AFRY

We have a full-time career opportunity for a Data Manager having more than 5 years’ experience. As a Data Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating a vast array of information in our projects. You will support project teams and clients in digital project management, guiding them in document management and aligning with the clients’ goals.

About the AFRY Infrastructure Division

Out of AFRY’s Infrastructure Divisions 6,500 employees approximately 1900 professionals are in the Swedish headquarter and others are spread across the globe in more than 40 countries. The team provides engineering services in infrastructure projects such as, road/highways, high speed railway, bridges, water and wastewater utilities & treatments, tunnels and underground works.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities

  • Establish routines for efficient project execution and digital workflows.
  • Train, inform, and support team members in document management systems.
  • Ensure essential templates, figures, and drawings are available.
  • Coordinate incoming/outgoing project documents and data.
  • Support project management and technical leaders with review routines
  • Review project documents for metadata, stamping, naming conventions, and template adherence.
  • Collaborate with project leaders in updating document/delivery lists.
  • Address queries and emails, providing digital support.
  • Manage document deliveries to clients’ project areas or document management systems.
  • Develop and coordinate delivery routines, including document appearance, delivery area, metadata requirements, and timelines.

Qualifications

We expect that you have

  • A qualified degree in engineering from a reputable college and relevant education in BIM
  • Familiarity with cloud document management systems and storage spaces.
  • Proficient in CAD/BIM design and coordination tools
  • Ability to work closely with the design teams
  • Understanding of key documents relevant to the projects
  • Expertise in at least one of these software:
    • Bentley ProjectWise
    • Autodesk Vault
    • Trimble Connect
    • Microsoft SharePoint
  • Strong general computer skills and a good knowledge of working in relevant applications of MS Office
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English language (CEFR minimum level B1)
  • Effective time management and strong organisational skills
  • A passion for quality and continuous improvement with a focus on delivery

We appreciate if you have

  • Experience of working on projects associated with the Swedish Transport Administration
  • Experience of working with projects in the Nordics
