Job Description
We are looking for a Plant Officer
to support the smooth and efficient operation of our plant facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving plant performance, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage departmental performance against agreed targets and budgets.
- Oversee plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with equipment promptly.
- Support plant personnel in carrying out safety and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Plan and verify that project timelines, blueprints, and cost estimates align with the budget.
- Ensure the facility complies with all safety, health, and environmental regulations; conduct regular inspections and audits.
- Work closely with all manufacturing machinery to maintain peak efficiency and maximum safety.
- Identify operational or mechanical problems, propose improvements, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct production planning and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and manage work schedules for plant personnel.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in
Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical
, or a related
Engineering field
. - 2–5 years
of experience in
plant operations
or
engineering maintenance
(manufacturing or industrial environment preferred). - Strong technical knowledge of
plant utilities, equipment, and engineering systems
. - Experience with
preventive maintenance systems
and
troubleshooting techniques
. - Solid understanding of
safety, health, and environmental regulations
. - Strong
analytical, problem-solving
, and
project management
skills. - Ability to work
independently
and
lead cross-functional teams
when required. - Must have
permanent work rights in Singapore
