Stantec's Mountain Region is looking for a Staff Project Engineer/Geologist/Scientist for our Environmental Services Group. The role as a Staff Project Engineer/Geologist/Scientist is to perform field and tasks management duties associated with environmental permitting, hydrologic and hydrogeological studies, subsurface investigations, remediation, and monitoring projects; sampling of soil, sediment, surface water, and groundwater; oversight of subcontractors; production of maps; data interpretation/evaluation and deliverable preparation.

This position will be in an office environment working with computers and working at a stationary desk for long periods of time. Our Salt Lake City Environmental Services team generally works remotely and meets frequently; however, an office desk is available if preferred. Because of this, the successful candidate will be expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Salt Lake City, Utah, and our Cottonwood Heights office location.

Pay transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
