NPower Solutions is urgently seeking a qualified Weld Planner to support our client, Constellation Nuclear, at the Crane Clean Energy Center. Details below:
Title: Weld Planner
Location: CCEC in Middletown, PA
Duration: ASAP through December 2026
Qualifications:
The weld planner candidate should possess the following knowledge base:
o Has some background in welding/fitting, i.e., former pipe fitter or boiler maker or weld planning
o Read and understand P&ID / Isometric drawings
o Read and understand the CC-AA-501 series of procedures
o Basic understanding of the welding program regarding base materials, filler materials, joint design, WPS selection based on base metals being joined.
o Basic knowledge of ASME/AWS welding codes and standards
o Basic understanding of site pipeline specs
