**Position Specific Description**

The position supports the fleet wide development and implementation of Operations intial and continuing training programs. The position is also responsible for training innovation and LMS management.This is One Fleet One Team position, seated at Jupiter West location.

**Job Overview**

This position supports the fleet-wide development and implementation of the Operation’s initial and continuing training programs, including all exams and assessments. As a single point of contact for the fleet on all the operations training programs, this position will interface with outside agencies in support of the sites. All the fleet procedures and policies will be reviewed to maximize the effectiveness of the fleet Operations training programs and this position will work to streamline programs while staying within regulatory guidelines.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Designs, develops, implements, and presents integrated systems training and initial operator and requalification training programs under the applicable regulatory requirements

+ Operates the simulator and classroom display instruction system during training within approved procedures

+ Develops and administers written and oral examinations to include simulator and plant observation

+ Evaluates and documents operator candidate knowledge of controls and systems

+ Revises instructional materials to reflect changes in plant design, current plant practices, regulations, and/or operating philosophies

+ Performs governance and oversight as well as support and perform actions as part of a fleet-wide training oversight group

+ Provides direction to sites and fleet as well as less experienced instructors and functions as a program lead

+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience

+ Experience: 8+ years

+ Nuclear Experience: 8+ years

+ SRO License – Active, Inactive, or Prior or Nuclear Senior Reactor Operator Certification

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s – Engineering
