**Position Specific Description**

This is for the Fleet Cable Condition Monitoring Program Engineer. This position implements the cable condition monitoring program per regulatory and industry guidelines. This program monitors the health of important electrical cables looking at age, ampacity, insulation, and other cable properties. Based on this monitoring, the individual would work to schedule cost effective cable repair/replacements solutions. Seeking candidate with bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering highly desired.

**Job Overview**

This job supports the project and operational work of senior engineers. Employees in this role perform fundamental engineering tasks that require the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Individuals participate in the engineering analysis and evaluation process and test solutions to solve problems.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Performs fundamental engineering activities that require the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria

+ Participates in the analysis and evaluation of engineering problems

+ Prepares design change and technical evaluation research for review

+ Develops test activity to evaluate recommended solutions and analyzes data for result inconsistencies

+ Coordinates Engineering activities with other Engineering departments and with other company departments

+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned
