**Position Specific Description**
This position is for a Mechanical Engineer which will be located at our Jupiter West Corporate office. Engineers in this role provide technical interface with engineering firms on project developments and prepare/review engineering documents using the applicable industry and regulatory standards. Experience with computational tools, such as AutoCAD or SOLIDWORKS is preferred but not required. Prior project management experience is also preferred but not required.
This job supports the project and operational work of senior engineers. Employees in this role perform fundamental engineering tasks that require the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Individuals participate in the engineering analysis and evaluation process and test solutions to solve problems.
**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Performs fundamental engineering activities that require the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria
+ Participates in the analysis and evaluation of engineering problems
+ Prepares design change and technical evaluation research for review
+ Develops test activity to evaluate recommended solutions and analyzes data for result inconsistencies
+ Coordinates Engineering activities with other Engineering departments and with other company departments
+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned
+ Bachelor’s – Engineering
+ Experience: 0+ years
Nuclear Specific Requirements:
+ Entry level job requiring comprehension of engineering principles, theory, and their application to power plant systems, components, and structures
+ Knowledge of assigned Engineering specialty
