**Position Specific Description**
Our Integrated Supply Chain – Technical Services Department is looking for a Nuclear Engineer II to join their team in West Palm Beach, FL. This position is responsible for performing specialized engineering activities that support Integrated Supply Chain part selections focused on Nuclear Fleet projects and operations across the nuclear business. Employees in this role apply broad nuclear or related engineering experience and engineering principles to make decisions and recommendations effecting safety related parts and services. Individuals work with a group of Procurement Engineers and maintains a great level of independence with wide latitude to exercise engineering judgment over technical solution development.
The selected candidate for this role will:
• Perform highly complex engineering tasks that require related knowledge and experience with nuclear industry standards and regulations
• Provide consistency in application and standardization for PE evaluations/reviews including classifications, commercial grade dedications, item equivalency evaluations and material analysis wherever possible and appropriate
• Ensure procured material and services meet the Design Basis by developing and specifying technical and quality procurement requirements.
• Establish material safety classifications and quality levels by researching design and regulatory documents
• Establish procurement methodology including developing Commercial Grade Dedication criteria
• Establish PE documents which result in accurate technical and quality information supporting proper procurement and cost savings where appropriate
• Maintain plant configuration utilizing or initiating appropriate change document (item equivalency or design change)
• Support Nuclear Fleet corrective action program
This job performs activities in support of engineering operations and project completion. Employees in this role conduct engineering root cause analysis and develop cost effective countermeasures. Individuals also perform engineering fundamental activities to support operations.

+ Uses advanced computer models to develop and study solution feasibility
+ Prepares engineering documentation and assists with technical support for licensing and other regulatory proceedings
+ Ensures procured materials and services meet engineering specifications
+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned
+ Bachelor’s – Engineering
+ Experience: 2+ years
+ Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
