**Position Specific Description**
**The strong candidate for this position will have Chemistry and Radiation Protection Instructor experience.**
Employees in this role provide instruction related to Engineering, Health Physics, Chemistry, Maintenance (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Control, etc.) and other disciplines, functions and specialties. This job delivers required training courses that meet regulatory compliance obligations in the nuclear industry. Individuals participate in the design and development of specific training in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements.
**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Develops, delivers and improves assigned training courses, supporting materials and instructor/student evaluations using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)
+ Revises instructional materials to reflect changes in plant design, current plant practices, regulations, and/or operating philosophies
+ Provides direction and coaches less-experienced instructors
+ Supports the training program lead to ensure all elements of assigned instruction comply with company standards, NRC regulations, INPO accreditation criteria, and other codes, standards and regulatory requirements
+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned
+ High School Grad / GED
+ Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
+ Experience: 4+ years
+ Nuclear Experience: 4+ years
+ Bachelor’s – Sciences
+ Bachelor’s – Engineering
+ Certified Nuc Trng Instructor Classroom
Nuclear Specific Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s in a technical field (e.g., Math, Physical Sciences specialty, Engineering) or equivalent education and/or experience
+ Industrial training or related technical or specialty training or equivalent experience in assigned functional area within a nuclear plant such as Operations, Maintenance, Radiation Protection, or other nuclear related work: 5+ years
