**Position Specific Description**

Some additional responibilities for the role include:

+ Will be involved with Emergency Preparedness training and program administrator duties

+ Will be involved with the Training Program Descriptions (TPD) administration for General Employee Training, Contractor Training, and Industrial Safety Training.

+ Will be involved with Training Department (Department Training Coordinator (DTC) duties) which requires LMS and NANtel use and proficiency.

+ Will be involved with Operator License Program Maintenance.

**Job Overview**

Deliver training courses that comply with applicable regulatory requirements to train plant and other employees in specialties such as Engineering, Health Physics, Chemistry, Maintenance (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control, etc.) or other disciplines/areas as assigned. Participate in the design and development of discipline specific training in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements. Develop, maintain, improve and deliver training courses, supporting materials and evaluations using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT). Revise instructional materials to reflect changes in plant design, current plant practices, regulations, and/or operating philosophies. May provide direction to less experienced instructors and function as program lead maintaining all elements of the applicable training program as required by the associated procedures and policies to ensure compliance with company standards, NRC regulations and INPO accreditation criteria and other codes, standards and applicable regulatory requirements, where applicable. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

This position is represented by IBEW Local 2150.

**Required Qualification**

+ Bachelors degree in a technical field (e.g., Math, Physical Sciences specialty, Engineering) or equivalent education and/or experience. In the absence a Bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma/GED is required.

+ Five (5+) or more years of experience in industrial training or related technical or specialty training or equivalent experience in assigned functional area within a nuclear plant such as Operations, Maintenance, Radiation Protection, or other nuclear related work is required.

+ Complete instructor certification requirements.

+ Candidates must satisfy all Company and Nuclear Regulatory Commission security requirements.

+ Travel to support company objectives and act as a member of the Emergency Response Organization will be part of the requirements of this position.
