**Position Specific Description**
This job is responsible for all nuclear outage preparation and execution at Port St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant (PSL). Job responsibilities include oversight of outage preparations including scoping, milestone adherence, work scope split, reactor and turbine services, line preparations, and outage core team. Responsibilities also include leading the outage control center during refueling and forced outages, outage review boards, long-range plans, ensuring an accurate and quality outage schedule, coordinating with business operations on the outage budget, and ensuring execution of the outage in the preparations and outage procedures.
This position oversees development, planning, scheduling, and execution of all online and outage activities (including forced, planned and refueling outages) consistent with plant and fleet policy and regulatory requirements. Individuals in this role implement and uphold fleet and site work management programs, procedures, and policies to safely and efficiently achieve plant objectives.
**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Applies risk management principles to plan, schedule, and conduct plant work orders and surveillances safely
+ Supervises daily activities of department employees
+ Monitors performance indicators and other methods of measuring and reporting work scheduling preparations and execution taking necessary action to mitigate impacts equipment reliability
+ Establishes and enforces safety, procedural compliance, corrective action and appropriate work expectations
+ Communicates plant issues and status of objectives to management
+ Coordinates department activities with plant and fleet resources and teams to meet plant objectives
+ Ensures programs and actions are compliant with plant, fleet, and industry requirements
+ Plans and manages employee training and performance
+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned
+ High School Grad / GED
+ Experience: 8+ years
