As a business developer, you will have a key role in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with the mission to connect more decentralized assets (e.g. EV chargers, solar panels, villa batteries) to Flower’s Virtual Power Plant.
In your daily work, you will work closely together with a Product Owner, making sure there is a good match between the product offers and the market needs. You will belong to the Sales squad and have colleagues working with business development and sales in related segments. You will report to the Head of Sales.
Your key responsibilities:
⚡️ Identify strategic partnerships and key stakeholders in the value chain
⚡️ Understand partner’s needs and develop solutions to meet their goals
⚡️ Align continuously with Flower’s Product squad to create outstanding offers
⚡️ Own dialogues with external stakeholders within the segment
⚡️ Stay ahead with industry trends and market conditions
As we are operating in a fast-paced and innovative environment, your tasks will vary over time, and enjoying cross-collaboration with people in other teams will be key to figuring out the best solutions!
⚡️ The right candidate
We believe that you hold an academic degree in engineering, energy, business, or a related field. Working in a start-up environment is fast-paced and exciting. This means lots of freedom to impact and innovate, but also a big responsibility to make things happen. We see that you enjoy both the social and technical aspects of working with innovation and that the energy transition is something you want to be a part of.
💪 Important skills ("must haves"):
⚡️Experience of developing partnerships
⚡️ Excellent problem-solving skills and mindset (a doer attitude)
⚡️ Analytical mindset to navigate a segment with many stakeholders
✌️ Some "nice-to-have" skills and experiences (for us to be a good match, we think you check two or more of these):
⚡️ Previous business developer experience
⚡️ Experience working at a startup or scaleup
⚡️ Experience of formalizing commercial agreements
⚡️ Experience of the energy sector
Fluency in English and Swedish and a working permit in Sweden is required. You should be willing to submit to a background check as the security of the electricity system is our top priority.
