Holtec Decommissioning International (HDI) is currently seeking a Mgr, Chemistry to join the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant team in Covert, MI.

Responsible for integrating Chemistry departmental activities into plant operations to ensure safe, reliable, cost efficient operation.
Minimum education required of the position
B.S. in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical degree or equivalent experience. (Equivalent experience is defined as demonstrated success at the Manager level.)
Minimum experience required of the position
8 years of commercial nuclear power plant chemistry operations, maintenance, engineering, or RP experience in the related discipline. Technical proficiency in the Chemistry area. 2 years previous supervisory experience.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
Requires in-depth understanding of concepts, theories and principles in own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines.
Any certificates, licenses, etc., required for the position
SRO or certification on BWR or PWR (desired). Candidates must meet or exceed ANSI/ANS 3.1-1978. ANSI Section 4.4.3 Chemistry and Radiochemistry. 5 years of chemistry experience, 1 of which shall be in radiochemistry at an operating nuclear power plant. A minimum of 2 years of this 5 years shall be related technical training. Related technical training or academic training may fulfill a maximum of 4 of this 5 years experience.
