Senior (Internal) Talent Acquisition Partner, Technical - Brisbane

Are you tired of reading job descriptions boasting a ‘fast-paced culture’, ‘servant leadership’, and ‘high-performance’? At PSC, our job descriptions contain words like “building teams”, “leadership development”, “human-centric culture”. Our vision is empowering people to transform the energy industry, building a more sustainable world. In line with our values, our culture is focused on empowering our teams to build a more sustainable workplace.

The energy transition is vital to our future and here at PSC, we are compelled to make a difference. We are specialist consultants to the energy industry, an independent firm with global operations. Our teams have been tackling the thorniest problems for some of the most prominent industry players for over 25 years. We provide critical project consulting support for large energy clients, renewable developers, sustainable energy initiatives, and everything in between. Our vision is to empower people to transform the energy industry so that, together we will power a more sustainable world. We do the right thing, we foster bright ideas, we invest in the future and we celebrate success.

We’re growing our team and are seeking a technical recruiter to work on recruitment for our APAC region. This covers Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. APAC is our biggest region and we already have one Talent Acquisition Partner for this region. But we need more support here - are you up for the challenge?!  We are in a tight-knit and competitive industry; therefore, you understand the value of every interaction. Our recruiting cycle can be long, so building quick, effective, and trusting relationships as you develop your talent pipelines for the short and long term are critical to your success. You will be a hiring subject matter expert for the business, providing guidance on process, interview techniques, candidate recommendations, and more. Stakeholder management and business partnering skills are essential! As a steward of culture, you also understand that attracting and engaging candidates in a transparent and authentic manner is important to building trust and finding a good fit. Working with technical managers and candidates will be your world and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

We are compelled to make a difference and we aim to do the right thing. We wouldn’t be where we are today without our people, so if that sounds like something you can get behind (and can recruit people into) then we would like to connect with you.

  • Have likely been recruiting for at least eight (8) years, mostly in an engineering or technical environment, and you thrive in a technical world.
  • Have experience working in-house or a mix of in house and agency.
  • Pride yourself on being a creative problem solver and enjoy the challenge of turning over every rock to network, cold-call, and ‘headhunt’ your way to filling critical roles for the business.
  • Appreciate that recruiting is a consultative process between managers and candidates and making valuable connections is a priority in your interactions.
  • Have proven experience recruiting talent across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Are innately curious, enjoy learning new things and you aren’t afraid to ask questions.
  • Have excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Are excited about having a direct impact on the business.
  • Would enjoy collaborating in-person at our Brisbane offices, but have a skill set that is something we need and can work fully remote just the same.
  • Are software savvy, adept at using tools like LinkedIn, Indeed, niche job boards, and MS office.
  • LOVE using a great ATS (we use Teamtailor) and you understand the value and efficiencies this can bring to your role and to your hiring managers.
  • Are extremely organised and meticulous about keeping candidate records, notes and the ATS up to date.
  • Are authorised to work in Australia without restrictions or sponsorship.

  • Thrive in a culture where people are our greatest asset and truly celebrate and value the individual.
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit, love new ideas and are always looking to improve.
  • Understand that everyone has a personal life and provide an extremely flexible work environment outside of the traditional ‘9 to 5’.
  • Would love to have you close to one of our Australia offices, but we're open to fully remote as well.
  • Provide amazing growth opportunities, mentoring, and an autonomous role.
  • Offer competitive compensation, benefits, and development.

We are passionate about contributing to a meaningful mission and are proud of our people. If you’ve been searching for a human-centric culture, then perhaps you’ve finally found your match with our PSC team.
