Would you like to be a source of Category specialist in the field of HVDC Control and Protection materials handling in Customs & Logistics?
In this role, You will:
- Coordination with Hitachi Energy India tax, legal specialist / financial specialist to optimize the goods import / export process.
- Coordination with Project Execution team to advise the material transaction flow and logistics process.
- Processing paperwork related to incoming and outgoing shipments according to customs laws.
- Advise on necessary documents and tax liabilities in material transaction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all customs-related inquiries.
- Seek the sender to provide all the necessary documents relates to customs clearance.
- Owning and collaborating global standardization initiatives in Compliance organization
- Ensure the customs relevant information within IT system is accurate.
- Identify and put in place customs duty savings measure.
- Ensure the correct amount of duties are paid
- Work towards ensuring the goods are cleared without delay.
- Take necessary action fire-fighting any issue arising with customs.
- Identify and put in place operationally advantageous customs procedure.
- Ensure the import duty drawback upon goods exports.
- Ensure the good relationships within business stakeholders.
- Monitor changes in customs regulations and advise relevant parties of any updates.
- Monitor and check the performance of logistics service providers and customs brokers.
- Owning and collaborating global standardization initiatives in Compliance organization
- Analyzing data and being responsible for highlighting gaps, recommending solutions and influencing inter-function decisions
- Deep diving into problems, performing root cause analysis and identify constraints and recommend solutions to fix business problems.
- Encourage continuous improvement and documenting any issues/action planning in functional area and own specific action or change recommended.
- Training employees on proper procedures and regulations regarding customs regulations
