Job Summary:


This is the fourth level of the Facility & Systems Specialist classification hierarchy within the Access Control Office. Employees at this level will lead the staff and manage related work with minimal leadership supervision. Employees at this level must possess the respective technical skills and work collaboratively with other stakeholders to achieve joint company and department level goals. This includes being fully competent in all relevant procedures, issue management and resolution, and the Enterprise Protective Services (EPS)Operational Excellence program. In this role, one will be responsible for providing oversight and support of all video management projects, this includes projects that incorporates new security technology integrations between EPS Video Management Systems (VMS), Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and Physical Security Information Management Systems (PSIM) for both regulatory and non-regulatory projects.

Responsibilities & Duties:


Daily Operations - Work Management
• Reviews programming workbooks for completeness.
• Assigns and manages projects / tasks requiring programming / testing support.
• Clearly communicate with stakeholders' system related updates & project programming statuses.
• Ensures team is operating within the procedural guidelines that govern how work is performed.
• Creates new processes for new responsibilities assumed by the team.
• Responsible for testing new technology in the in the security lab prior to production considerations / deployments.
• Verifies with team that security devices are being repaired / escalated in a timely manner.

Systems Management - Staff Direction and Oversight
• Weekly Stand-up Briefs for Management to report on progress/obstacles
• Performance and Personal Development Plans
• Monthly Staff One on One Conversations
• Resource Allocation to ensure ACO members have sufficient coverage for committed or needed support.
• On Call Rotation and Escalation Support
• Staff Cross Training and Evaluation
• Interface with Business Areas/Customers to represent EPS in security system related matters and/or incidents that may require support ofsystem related issues, video management system (VMS) archive and physical access control system (PACS) history reports. Program

Development/Sustainment – Security Management Programs
• VMS Daily Operability Standards
• Systems Maintenance Program
• Standard Operating Procedures for the ACO
• Monthly VMS Operability / Quality Review
• Monthly_ Bi- Monthly VMS Metric Review
• Service Tracking
• Enter and track service requests in JIRA
• Update service tickets to ensure JIRA Dashboard is accurate
• ServiceHub System / security system support
• Subject Matter Expert Training for Staff on All Systems the ACO Supports

Program Development/Sustainment – Regulatory Compliance
• Regulatory Systems Commissioning
• Regulatory Systems Maintenance & Testing
• Regulatory Systems Evidence Archive
• Recurring Training for Regulatory Procedures

Program Development – Crisis Management
• Service Disruption Event (SDE) Standards and Processes

Basic/Required Qualifications:


• Bachelors degree and five (5) or more years of work related experience; OR High School Diploma/GED and nine (9) or more years of work related experience in lieu of a degree

Desired Qualifications:

  • Security Systems Management
  • Personnel Supervision/Oversight
  • Experience in Leadership/Supervision of personnel, processes and systems administration in the Security Industry.
  • Experience in Utility Industry Regulatory Compliance (NERC-CIP, FERC, CIP-014, etc.)
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
  • Physical Security Professional (PSP)
  • American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS)
