Job Description:
For our High Voltage Technology Center in Vadodara, India, we are looking for a Sr. Engineer in Metallurgy – with expertise in the field of metallurgy. You will join a dynamic, motivated and creative team with a variety of experience and competencies. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for managing material science laboratory. While doing so you will be responsible analyzing, understanding & advising metallurgical aspects of parts/components used in various High Voltage Products.
Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for establishing & managing material science laboratory.
- Develop this laboratory facility to materials other than metals & customized tests in future.
- Responsible to build a team of engineers to enhance competencies in the field of material science.
- Need to work on and analyze different metals, their supply conditions. Knowledge on surface treatments will be an added advantage.
- Support development projects for the metallurgical aspects by providing expert advice.
- Responsible to perform RCAs in case of issues and be able to give solution to project teams.
- Facilitate technical discussions with stake holders to provide application support and solutions to products/project teams.

Your background
- Master’s degree in Metallurgy.
- 8 – 10 years of experience in roles related to metallurgical analysis with experience in working & managing metallurgical laboratory.
- Should have knowledge of various tests and usage of equipment used in metallurgical analysis.
- Knowledge of international standards.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
