Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Cusseta, AL

Hours: 6am - 6pm EST, Mon - Friday, occasional Saturday. Great overtime!

Pay: $13, this increases to $15 at 90 Days

Job Summary

Express Employment is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for the safe movement of materials, loading/unloading, and maintaining an organized work environment within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials and finished goods
• Supply production lines with necessary materials in a timely manner
• Verify materials using pick tickets, labels, or production documentation
• Perform basic forklift inspections and report maintenance issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse/production area
• Follow all safety, quality, and company policies at all times
• Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience required (automotive or manufacturing preferred)
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time
• Shift details may vary (day/night/weekend as assigned)
• Manufacturing/warehouse setting with temperature variations and noise
