Job Title: Software Engineer
Employment Type: 52 Week Contract
Location: Glendale, CA (Hybrid)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of media platforms, applications, and shared services. This role is integral to designing, building, testing, and deploying software solutions that support media fulfillment and content supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Software Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-quality software solutions using best practices in coding standards, architecture, and system reliability.
- AWS Expertise: Utilize AWS tools and technologies to build and maintain robust applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, product owners, and cross-functional teams including security and infrastructure.
- Agile Practices: Participate in agile scrum processes, including prioritization and estimation of work.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
Focus Areas
- Identity and Access Management services
- Building reusable B2B REST APIs
- Database integration and management
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in application and shared services development
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Java (Kotlin and JavaScript also valued)
- Extensive experience with AWS tools and technologies, including Serverless Computing and API Gateway
- Solid understanding of REST API development and software engineering principles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
•Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js and Spring Boot
- Experience with Keycloak and Identity and Access Management
- Database expertise (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc.)
- Knowledge of infrastructure tools like CDK, Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD
- AWS certifications or related credentials
- Exposure to frontend technologies (React, HTML, CSS, DOM)
